"Come to me,"
The flower said
To the bee
That buzzed
Around its head.

Three slender fellows,
Waving in the breeze,
Hope that their yellows
Will an insect please.

She followed me down the beach,
Little girl all alone,
While the rest of her extended family
Flew out to sea, hunting fish.
Was she the more clever one,
Hoping I had a tidbit for her -
So she could stay dry?
Or were her extended family members,
Who turned in circles over a school of fish,
Diving for a sure meal into the cold waters of dawn?

I'm Didjeridoo, the cockatoo -
I'm certainly not a kangaroo!
So, how do you do?
I'm Didjeridoo, the big white bird -
I scream the loudest you have heard!
So, how do you do?
I'm Didjeridoo, I'm never quiet -
I'm always sounding like a riot!
So, how do you do?
I'm Didjridoo, come dance with me -
I'm doing the bob, as you can see!
So, how do you do?

Are you looking at me?
So--what do you see?
I'm blue as the sky
don't you think?
I'd never have anything
to do with pink!
I'm majestic--a king!
My voice has a ring
I can blare it aloud
for all to hear.
If you get too close
you'll pay with your ear!
